Description
Glimepiride is a generic drug Dexa Medica used for anti- diabetes therapy mellitus type 2 so that blood sugar levels drop. Glimepiride including sulfonilurea. Glimepiride works by stimulating insulin release from Beta-cell pancreas and reducing glucose emissions from the liver and increasing insulin sensitivity to the peripheral target site. Notes: Anti-bluble drugs should be used only if patients cannot control blood sugar levels with diet and exercise alone. Glimepiride can be given both by metin and insulin.
