Dosage
Tresiba is given 1x a day. The dose given to each patient can be different depending on the individual's condition.Dosis early on for patients with type 1 diabetes is a third to half of the total dose of insulin per day.
How to Use
Remove the pen's insulin cap. Open the wrapping paper and close the needle. For the first use, make sure the pen can be used. Make sure there is no air bubbles in the pen. Use 1 or 2 units of insulin to check whether the insertion is approximable. Rotate the dosage button with the needle to the top. If insulin is visible at the top of the needle.
Storage
Can be stored in the refrigerator (2C-8C) at first or before opening storage. If used can be stored at room temperature, away from direct and damp sunlight. Do not store it in the freezer.
