VOMETRON 8MG TABLET
Description
The PT Mahakam Beta Farma produces Vometron in the form of syrup, injection fluid, and tablets that have all been listed at BPOM. Each of the 8 mg Vometron tablets contains Ondansetron that is used to cope with nausea & vomiting that is induced by cytotoxic chemotherapy & radiotherapy, as well as postoperative. Vometron tablets can be given together or without food.

Dosage
Post-op nausea prevention: 1 tablet 1 hour anesthesiologist, followed by 2 doses of 1 tablet per 8 hours. & vomit is induced by radiotherapy 8 mg per oral every 8 hours. The first dose has to be taken 1 2 hours before radiotherapy.

Pregnant & lactating
Side Effects
Constipation, headaches, warm sensations & redness to the face, and skin rashes. Sometimes: temporary increase in transatinase levels in the serum.
