Description
PONSAMIC 500MG TAB 100S is produced by PT. Guardian Pharmaceuticals. Each tablet contains Mefenamatic acid 500 mg. The Mefenamatic acid is a non-steroid anti-inflammatory group, working to suppress prostaglandin synthesis in the body's tissue by inhibiting the sycloxic enzyme so that it has analytic, anti-inflammatory effects, and antipedetics.

Indication
Reduce mild to moderate pain related to headaches, toothaches, primary dysmenorrhea, including trauma, muscle pain, and postoperative pain.

Dosage
Adults and children >14 years old : initial doses: 500 mg. Then doses continued to be 250 mg every 6 hours as needed.
How to Use
Given after a meal.
Storage
Keep it in a cool, dry place.
Warning
Patients with risk factors for cardiovascular events (e.g. hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus, smoking), mild heart failure to moderate, hypovolemia, weakened patients, kidney and liver disorders. Lansia. Pregnancy and lactation.
Side Effects
Anaphyactoid reaction, fluid retention, anemia, hypercalemia.
